Crafted with love in the North Woods of Minnesota
Meet The Maker
It’s been clear that art was my path since the very beginning. I was the artsy kid growing up- always drawing, painting or glitter gluing something. In 2014, I started Badalia Creations to bring that love of creating into the world in a way that was meaningful to me.
Painting was my focus at that time, although I was dabbling in making jewelry- mainly for myself and loved ones.
In 2016 jewelry became my main obsession and with a little push from my husband, Brady, I opened my first Etsy shop. What began as a creative outlet turned into a love affair with metal, gemstones, and the joy of working with my hands. And the rest is history!
I work primarily with gold fill, sterling silver, and gemstones (because nature is the best designer, really). Each piece I create is handmade with intention. My goal is simple: to make jewelry that feels personal, joyful, and just the right amount of special — the kind you reach for day after day, not just on special occasions.
Jewelry may be small, but there is something special about finding joy in the little things.
I now live in Esko with my husband and our mini Aussie, Nori, and I could not have gotten to where I am without the love and support of family and friends. I feel so grateful that I get to do what I’ve always wanted — create, connect, and share joy through the arts.
Thanks for being here,
Haley
WHAT’S WITH THE NAME?
Badalia pronounced buh - dale - ee- uh
I always get the question… “Is Badalia your middle or last name?” Well I’m here to spill the tea- it’s neither! The name Badalia originated from a little bottle in my childhood fridge filled with a delicious sweet onion sauce called Vidalia Onion Vinaigrette. As a young girl that sauce was on my plate at almost every meal. I was obsessed and litterally ate it with EVERYTHING. I consumed it so much that my older brother changed my nickname from Halez Badalez aka Badalez to Badalia. Voilá Badalia was born!
